Excerpt: "When is daddy getting back?" She looks at me and tears swelling in her eyes. I smile weakly at her, and her eyes longing for the right answer. But I couldn't give it to her. How was I suppose to tell her, her father left her mother for another girl. That he didn't even know you existed. And she hasn't seen her father in well over two years. That all her father does is get plastered in local clubs, and bring home any girl that will say hi to him. How was I suppose to say, "Hun, your father is in the biggest bands ever. Also, he's Tom Kaulitz." I didn't want to subject her to that, and see how much of a disgrace her real father was.
