He decides to stay at his grandma's for the year, trying to find out more about his family history while adjusting to freshman year. Little did he know, Freshman year would be the year he learns to do Geometry, how to take off his mask, how to make friends, and what it really means to love unconditionally and authentically.
Moving from California to Boston in search for a better life, 14 year old Luke H leaves his family, hoping he'll find peace across the U.S. He settles down in an apartment complex near his new school & with his new neighbor Drew. Despite his attempt to escape his family and their influence on him, Luke is still haunted by his past in California, as he tries to adjust to living alone in a foreign state without friends or family as a support system. But Luke is determined to make something of himself in his freshman year, but little would he know that he would discover more than he'd ever dream with his family here.
Together, these two learn what it means to be authentic and happy, as they try to make this year their's.
