The Story of Team Hope (Pokemon Story)
*Will be editing someday soon* 14-year-old Skylar lives in a world full of Pokemon, where you can only catch one type. Skylar trains the dark type, but she has broken the rules. Mark, Skylar's brother, is the leader of Team Hope, and she is second in command. They are trying to turn the world around, to let them have their own Pokemon, not just the ones of their type. Skylar has a Taillow, not a dark type at all. She must go on a mission to retrieve files and destroy a machine the government plans on using to take over Pokemon, located in Snowpoint City. The fate of all Pokemon rests on Skylar, and her pokemon, Absol, Weavile, Houndour, and Taillow. But, of course, she runs into people that she can't just get rid of, the water trainer, Barry, the fighting trainer, Lucas, and the flying trainer, Dawn. How does she cope with having to stay undercover with a bunch of trainers she just met? And how can she keep quiet about the fact she can talk to Pokemon? Well, you have to read it to find out. Frequently Asked Questions: Q - What's special about this fanfiction? A - The books have an architectured story, from mysteries to time travel. From being awfully childish to brutally mature. Also, the protagonist ages. Q - Who are the Main Protagonists and the rivals? A - Red, a character from the Pokemon Video Games is the main protagonist along with his best friend Leaf. Whereas the character Blue (also known as Gary in the anime) is more of a frenemy than a rival. The main rivals would be Team Rocket Grunts - Cassidy and Butch as well as their Boss, Giovanni. Q - Is this story based on Pokemon Red or FireRed? A - The story has a few iconic moments from the games/manga but those events do not play a big part in the main story arc. Q - Is Ash Ketchum in it? A - The story takes place in its own universe. I try to bring some events from the games, the manga, and the anime. You get to see a different version of Ash Ketchum (close to how he has been depicted in the anime) in 2 chapters of this book. Q - Is Team Rocket the same as in the anime? A - While Cassidy and Butch are characters from the anime, they have a different overall character arc than in the anime. Team Rocket is darker than in any previous versions and has a purpose and a plan other than stealing. Giovanni's plan plays out slowly in the course of three books. Q - It has time travel? A - It does, time travel is hinted at in the first book with the actual "time traveling" in the second book. Q - "I hope the protagonist has a father, hahaha" A - Yes, he does. After his loss in Unova Ash returns home to regroup and plan which region he will go to next. However while planning his next region, tragedy strikes and his mother dies. to his knowledge he has no other family until one day a familiar visitor arrives offering him a home and revealing a family secret lost for generations. Ash takes this offer and trains his Pokemon for 2 years. Now he is ready to journey out again, this time to Kalos. What will he find in Kalos, will he finally be able to achieve his dreams? And will he find something or someone that he didn't know he was missing when he finds a certain honey blonde. This is rated mature, however there won't be any lemons here but perhaps other some mature topics might get put in here. This will be my first ever attempt at writing so please forgive me and please leave your criticism. if this goes well I might actually write something else. For the most part this will be based off of the cannon, however this will be for the most part an original story. So please enjoy. For a girl who was seen as a little kid by the way she acts, it wouldn't be easy to go on a journey alone. A boy named Flame, who visited the town for unknown reasons, decided to volunteer to support her and make sure she doesn't get into trouble with the gang causing trouble across Sinnoh Flora had to build up her strength and new team to overcome anything that gets in her way. She's eager to get things done quickly, but Flame was there to offer his guidance and protection. Flame is a mysterious stranger who happened to come out of nowhere, but the two felt instantly comfortable in front of one another as soon as they met. There was a connection they couldn't understand, and Flame was determined to keep her away from harm, but at a distance. Secrets will be revealed and memories will be remembered. There are important key elements to discovering a new meaning to what happened to them in their childhood.
