Izuku Midoriya, hero-in-training and the person who AllMight chose to inherit One For All has been doubted in his ability to become a hero for his entire life. But he has continued to persevere and continue training, smiling brightly, even through tough times.

Until the person who he had begun to care for most lies in front of him, a hole directly through his heart.

Time is always of the essence in life, and not just for the two heroes. So when Izuku finds someone with a time quirk, he jumps at the chance to save Bakugo.

But fate is one of those things that should not be messed with. And Izuku will learn that the hard way.

(AU where they are unable to save Bakugo after Tomura punches his heart. Battles and major events may be a bit different, I haven't seen the final battle where Bakugo briefly dies and my memory may be absolute shit for other things. Enjoy!)
