Anything that Angelina had heard Atsumu Miya came in buzzwords: talented, cocky, gorgeous, asshole. Ever since he suddenly transferred to UCLA last year from Japan, immediately becoming the best collegiate volleyball player America has ever seen, he seemed to be all anyone wanted to talk about.

But, that's all that it was: talk.

Sitting across from him, listening to him ramble on about anything but the questions she asks, Angelina realizes that for all the talk, the story of Atsumu Miya has never been told; he hasn't written a single page. Atsumu Miya is a jumble of notes written messily on napkins and grocery store receipts, small pieces of an indicepherable whole.

Well, she thinks with newfound resolve, she's going to decipher it. She'll learn everything about him, and she'll tell his story, and she'll get a damn Pullitzer for it.
