They weren't meant to fall in love.

But fate never followed rules.

He was fire. She was frost.

Forced in an arranged marriage neither of them wanted, Ahaan and Tara had nothing in common, except the fact that they both were experts at pretending that they didn't care. Two people sworn to never let their hearts get involved. They both thought that they would simply survive each other. But between shared meals, stolen glances, boardroom chaos and occasional fights over burnt toasts and broken claw clips, they began to see something past the version of each other the world had always seen including the families that expected them to fail.

This is a story of slow burn love, enemies-to-partners, healing old wounds, buried pain and to learn each other's language even though the world refused to listen.

He chose law not out of duty, but legacy. His father is one of the country's most prominent advocates. Kabir grew up admiring him, respecting him, and holding onto the only family he has ever known. His mother passed away when he was only five, leaving his father as his world and guide. But no, Kabir Deshmukh isn't your typical law student who follows rules and hides behind his father's reputation. He studies law, yet behaves more like the kind who might end up breaking it. The reckless things he's done could easily get him expelled, yet professors hesitate to take action. Partly because of who his father is, and partly because everyone knows Kabir isn't just another privileged brat. Beneath that arrogance lies brilliance. The kind of mind that could one day shine in the judiciary, just like his dad himself. 𝐑𝐡𝐞𝐚 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐣𝐢 She is 26, born and raised in Kolkata, in a middle-class joint Bengali family where art, literature, and education run deep. Everyone around her grew up to be teachers, writers, or artists, and while Rhea inherited their curiosity and intellect, she chose a different path. Law. A field no one in her family had ever stepped into. Justice, reform, and the power to question the system always fascinated her, she was the kind of person who believed one voice could still make a difference. Confident, bold, and sharp-minded. After finishing high school, she moved to Delhi to study law at St. Ives College, and now she's a professor there.

His face dipped in the crook of her neck. She was caged in between the cupboard and his hand. His one hand was beside her head, and the one was on her waist. He inhaled deeply, his nose grazing the soft skin of her neck. She shivered and cluthched her saree tightly in her hands . He backed away slightly, only met her gaze as their eyes looked. The dominance, desire, and hint jealousy did'nt go unnoticed by her. His eyes moved to her lips, but as she took a deep yet shaky breath, he backed away slightly. His hands cuped her throat, and his fingers rubbed it softly. "𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭," he whispered, his voice laced with danger and his tone hiding something beneath it. °❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:・°❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:・°❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:・°❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:・°❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:・°❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:・ 𝐀𝐫𝐲𝐚𝐧 𝐊𝐮𝐥𝐤𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢 a man who belongs from the famous business family in India.
