January- the first month of the new year, bringing new changes in Ishi's life, something she's afraid to accept.

Early morning rays of the New Year painted the sky in its golden glow. The announcement of the boarding metro was made, echoing in the empty station.

Ishi hurriedly climbed the escalator, hoping to catch the metro train but in vain. As she stood on the platform, it zoomed past her. 7 o'clock displayed on the digital clock.

She sighed, looking at the universe playing games with her. She saw the doors to the next metro opening, and she boarded it absent mindedly.

It took her a long time to realize that when one door closes, the right one opens soon.

They say a four-letter word can make you do anything, but will it make Ishi accept the change?

Panic surged through her, and she opened her mouth to scream, but before she could make a sound, another hand covered her mouth. She struggled to break free, until she saw who it was. Him. His face was close, and eyes dark with frustration. "I'm so sorry," he whispered urgently, "I didn't want to do this, but you've forced me to this point." His breath was warm against her cheek, and the closeness between them sent a shiver down her spine. "This... this is choking me. I can't stand it anymore." Her mouth went dry, and she tried to pull her wrist free, but he only held on tighter, his thumb brushing over her skin in a way that sent sparks through her entire body. His intensity, the heat between them, was overwhelming. "Reyansh, I-" She couldn't finish the sentence. "You're driving me insane," he breathed, leaning in even closer. Prologue This was the moment I was waiting for. To see what he would do. It was as if like the time had paused, I felt that my heart would burst out any moment because it was beating so fast. He was silent for sometime, it looked like he was thinking of what to tell me. "Tanu, I...I am not ready for this." His words stabbed my heart and tore it apart....
