In the quiet hum of a late-night convenience store, San stood alone-just a simple guy working to make ends meet. His life was ordinary, or so he thought.
Until they walked in.
Seven beings of power and sin
They were banished-cast from their world for failing to meet their dark duties. And now, they were bound to San.
"Teach us," Hongjoong commanded, his voice commanding but smooth. "Show us what it means to truly serve in this realm."
San could only stare, heart pounding. "Why me?"
"You're different," Wooyoung whispered, his voice a tempting melody. "You have what we lack. You survived when others wouldn't."
"No time for hesitation," Yunho growled, his eyes burning with impatience. "We need to understand humans. We'll learn through you."
But San didn't ask for this. His life was already filled with struggles-rejection from his family, the loneliness that came from being different. And now, these beings, these devils, were tied to him.
"Fate doesn't ask questions," Seonghwa said, his gaze cold and unyielding. "It binds us."
Every glance, every word, felt like a weight pressing down harder. They were unnatural, powerful, and desperate to grasp what they had lost.
"I don't have the answers you seek," San said weakly, his voice barely a whisper. "I'm just... me."
"We'll learn," Yeosang said softly, his voice like a lullaby. "Or we'll sink deeper into this world."
The balance was shifting, and San was the center of it all. The simple human caught between the worlds of good and sin, struggling to survive in a reality where nothing was simple anymore.
