Mixing Elements
The balance of nature is a beautiful thing. Everyone knows that balance is helped by Mother Nature. What people don't know is that there is too much chaos in the world for one person to handle. Mother Nature needed help to keep the balance between humans and nature. She chose four people. Four elements. Fire, air, earth, and water. Four people to help control the world's balance with their element. These four people are chosen from birth. Fire is strong and confident, yet badly tempered. Air is free-spirited, often a dancer who likes gossip. Earth is stubborn and greatly built. A great debater. Water is calm and graceful. If you mess with them though they can be worse than fire. Mother Nature chooses the new generation of elements based on who they are inside from birth. She trains them to use their element in secret. If society knew the elements walked among them the results could be catastrophic. People can belief in someone bigger than themselves, but if they knew what really went on the balance would die. The elements are to tell no one of their powers. The four most often form two couples. Mainly fire with air, and earth with water. The balance naturally is two boys and two girls. This is the story of four talented people who changed the rules, and dealt with the biggest natural chaos of mankind, that mankind never knew.

We know you have powers; we can sense them on you. We can do this because we have powers too. We call it magic. She found no relief from it, maybe because she had no happy memories to find solace in, nor anyone to find comfort in. And yet, Amber could be the catalyst to setting a series of events that had been prophesied centuries before, into motion, bringing together three more people – the embodiments of the Emblems – to bring magic back to life. But in this underlying world of Adepts, Demons and secrets within secrets, unlocking their potential will be harder than you think. ~^~^~^~^~^ So, this is my 2014 Nanowrimo story, which is basically an attempt to rewrite Phoenix, where it shall go through major changes in plot, characters as well as effects of my new-and-improved writing style. The Glitch
Every 100 years there's supposed to be a new one of us. But the newest one vanished when the world needed him most. Now people, are either fearful of us or hate us it sounds like. He was really supposed to be the next one, there's only supposed to be one of us, but there's two. They call me a glitch, I'll be able to learn all different elements just like my brother, but also I'm the only one who has some form of touchable body even when I'm in the spirit world. I can leave my body and let it walk around like a ghost. Maybe we've been in the ice for 100 years maybe less they don't exactly specify how long we've really been in there. But, I break away, I know his uncle, and I'd met his father. But the prince, even when I haven't met him in human form before he's my best friend, but if he knew who my brother was, and could track him down.... I hate to think what could happen.
