To be clear- this is not a story. As with anyone learning a new art, their is a lot to learn and develop to be the best I can be. I want to expand my tools and skills so that my stories are addictive, meaningful and entertaining. So, with that in mind, I am completing the exercises found in Ursula K. Le Guin's "Steering the Craft" and sharing my results with you all.

I had this idea last night after a few drinks, a pounding headache, and an excessive amount of throat lozenges. In order to inspire me to write more often than I currently do, I am planning to write a new post every day and publish it, allowing me to rant about whatever is on my mind. Anything goes with this story. Maybe I will talk about something deep and metaphysical about the meaning of human existence, or rant about why my life sucks and how I prefer iced tea over hot tea. Anything goes. This is just an inspiration to allow me to write SOMETHING every single day of the year. Hopefully I can keep up.... If I end up deleting this story, I guess you'll know that I failed. Second No More, a novel
I've dreamed of the perfect marriage ever since I was a little girl: a marriage complete with a hardworking husband while I tended to the home and our children, preferably four little rugrats to call my own.
