Off the ice

37 parts Complete

Hazel never expected to cross paths with Henry Walker-the star hockey player with a reputation for being untouchable and distant. She's just a die-hard fan who lives for the game, never missing a match. When a chance encounter at the local rink puts them in the same space, their worlds unexpectedly collide. At first, Henry keeps his distance, used to keeping people out. But Hazel's love for hockey-and her refusal to be intimidated-slowly chips away at his walls. What starts as casual conversations in the stands becomes something deeper. A friendship begins to form, fragile but real, and before either of them fully understands it, something more begins to grow. But with pressure building on and off the ice, jealous teammates, judgmental friends, and the weight of their own pasts, Hazel and Henry are pulled in opposite directions. Trust is tested. Feelings get complicated. And not everyone wants to see them close. Hazel thought hockey was her greatest passion. Henry thought he had to face everything alone. But maybe the biggest win isn't on the scoreboard-it's what happens off the ice.
