What if the Vainglory Factor latched onto Emilia when Pandora tried to erase her memories during the Elior Forest Permafrost?
In this AU, Emilia has developed an Authority that helped her retain all her memories at the beginning of the story. How will she evolve as a character? Will Subaru still simp on this version of her ? (Yes, ofc he will)

One thing's for sure: her path to becoming Queen of Lugunica will be far more arduous than in the original story.

(TL;DR : Emilia is immune to Return By Death, and many other things)
