Paper cares about OJ the most out of everyone he knows. OJ helped his mental health back in season one, and so much more.
Paper wasn't made to fall in love with OJ. he didn't want to believe it was true when he stated feeling it. Not because he didn't like Oj, but because he was worried what OJ would think.
what if OJ wasn't into guys?
what if Paper was too weak or stupid?
