The summer everything changed

Description:
A group of teens, Sarah Cameron, John B Routledge, Cleo Anderson, Pope Heyward, JJ Maybank, and Kiara Carrera. Friends since they were little, I'm talking 6 years old, since kindergarten. Now there being chased by these people, think they have the information to get them a lot of money. They are even willing to risk the teens life, just for some information to get them money.

Inspiration:
Got the inspiration for the plot from stranger things (season 3) and the characters are from outer banks (only on Netflix)

Information:
1: No treasure hunt, but still a lot of adventure. There is no school just for kooks, or pouges.
2: Cleo is from the U.S. Cleo and Pope have been living together since they were 3 after the Heywards found Cleo on the side of the road, alone.
3: Luke Maybank is JJ's real dad in this book, so Chandler Groff doesn't exist.
4: Can be sad, but happy ending!

6: when it becomes present time they are all 16.
