"I don't know what you're talking about."

Dario's dark eyes pin me in place as he steps closer. "Do not lie to me, Catalina. I see it in your eyes every time you defy my orders." His voice is low, dangerous, and my stomach swoops as he closes in like a predator would on its prey.

"You're wrong-"

"You crave me," he murmurs, each word a sinful caress. "You crave my touch. It's why you disobey, isn't it? You want me to punish you because it means I'd have to lay my hands on you."

I can't move, every part in my body tingling with anticipation as he closes the distance between us. His hand comes up, wrapping around my neck firmly. The touch is possessive, but gentle, and my breath catches when his thumb brushes against my jaw tenderly.
