Life as any supernatural being is hard. Either die to having to keep a big secret as to what you are or another species has beef with your kind and... well, it gets violent.
Meet Kaliyah Broussard. She comes from a powerful werewolf bloodline in New Orleans. Yet that didn't save her family, much less members of her pack from being destroyed by vampires.
Yet she was saved by witches and was adopted by The Stackhouse Family since she was a baby.
She grew up without a pack, not knowing what it's like to be pack werewolf.
Despite that, her life is good so far.
But when those vampires come out of the coffins... well everything changes. And for Kaliyah, it's gonna get real interesting when she finds out what the marks on her mean.
One on her right shoulder and strangely one on the nape of her neck.
She's gonna have to be careful either way. Because while she can match some vampires, she can't beat them all. Her best bet is to be careful.
