In which an abused boy named Calaway finds and unlikely friend in the new neighborhood boy and an escape from his abusive father. But when River moves away, leaving Calaway deserted, what happens? And what's worse? River comes back not remember his friend at all. What else was there for Calaway to do but show the boy who left him, the abusive things his father did to him.
