As their side hustle with Spencer Agnew for their tech and Tommy Bowe for management, they attend weddings, birthdays, office parties, and more for all sorts of purposes wanted by their clients. After each event, they receive their own shares of cash and get back to their full-time jobs at Smosh. However, when they become viral and go big-time for their little acts, Shayne and Courtney compromise to pretend as an actual couple and keep up the act in front of their families, friends, and co-workers to continue their odd job. Nonetheless, he wishes to the skies anyway that the clouds would part to send him the woman meant for him. Receiving his case was Courtney Miller, the Head of Soulmates and the maker of the mistake. In order to keep her from being sent to the Unknown as the sanction, her friend and boss Ian Hecox gets her to break the Realm's golden rule and does the unthinkable: descend to Earth to help Shayne find someone to fall in love. However, little did she know that there was a bigger consequence than the ones she was bound to face upon returning: falling in love.
