Ben 10: Shattered hope

In this reimagined universe, Ben 10 faces his greatest challenge yet a sinister alliance between Malware, Khyber the Huntsman, and Dr. Psychobos. Together, they create the Nemitrix, a predatory counterpart to the Omnitrix designed to harness DNA from deadly galactic predators. Their plan is to implant the Nemitrix into Khyber's pet, Zed, transforming it into an unstoppable hunter to eliminate Ben once and for all.

However, before their plan comes to fruition, Ben and his team intervene, dismantling the operation and seizing the incomplete Nemitrix. Driven by curiosity and desperation, Ben integrates the Nemitrix into his Omnitrix, creating a hybrid device capable of unlocking devastating fusion forms.

The hybrid device begins to erode Ben's mental and emotional stability, feeding off his guilt, anger, and fear. Past traumas resurface, leaving Ben emotionally raw and vulnerable. He develops anxiety and depression, plagued by panic attacks and violent outbursts that he struggles to control. Fearing for the safety of those he loves, he isolates himself, cutting ties with everyone. Alone, he becomes a rogue vigilante, his methods growing ruthless as he fights to protect others while battling the darkness within.

In his isolation, Ben finds solace in an unlikely source: Albedo, the Galvan scientist and former enemy who once sought to kill him. Stripped of his former power and left with a warped appearance resembling Ben, Albedo has been in exile, consumed by bitterness and regret. Despite their animosity, Ben turns to Albedo for help, believing that only someone who understands the burden of the Omnitrix can help him manage the hybrid device's effects.

Initially reluctant and hostile, Albedo eventually agrees, intrigued by the challenge and seeing an opportunity to restore his reputation as a scientist. Over time, their relationship evolves into a fragile alliance, with Albedo becoming the only person who can calm Ben during his panic attacks and violent outbursts.
