Aelia and Lucius. Neither could imagine facing the world they inhabited without the other. And so, when they were about to be separated by forces far beyond their understanding, Lucilla did what she thought was best: she sent them both into exile. Yes, perhaps the fact that they were together made the exile a little more bearable, but they would always remain the children who did not belong.
