Hi. 

My name is Serena Haddock. 

I live on the island of Berk. A place where vikings and dragons live in peace.
 
At first it was to hunt and kill them. But thanks to my brother, Hiccup, everything changed. We Berkians now ride and train them.

I myself did not get a dragon at first, because in my opinion a dragon chooses the rider, not the other way around. This is the story where a dragon chose me, and this is what happened.

On the island of Dumais, a baby was sent across the sea as her homeland was engulfed by war. A woman, rather a mother, traveled with the baby girl. The two sailed across stormy seas before landing on an island called Berk. This island is were the baby grew and found herself with mixed feelings for the dragon beast and for a certain boy, rather the Chiefs son. Only things don't turn out the way she thought after that one night.
