Realizing his life is on the line, he makes a desperate escape, accidentally barging into the room of a volatile tiger kemonomimi named Toru. After a heated confrontation, Saru's revelation of the warden's plans sparks a shared desire for freedom.

Now united by a fragile alliance, Saru and Toru must navigate the dangers of the prison and mental ward, dodge relentless guards, and overcome their own flaws to secure their freedom. But in a society that hates their kind, will escape be enough to survive?
