Let's See

Claire Johnson is just a normal girl in a normal world living a normal life, just like the rest of us. She is a daydreamer and a mischief maker, often telling tales and stories so incredulous that her friends and family find it hard to tell when she's telling the truth.
Born in America, and well talented, she can understand a few languages (though struggles to speak them), plays a few different instruments, and does some sports. She's not a big reader, but that didn't stop one of her close friends from introducing Claire to My Hero Academia. Claire was hesitant when her friend handed her the book, but after reading the first chapter, she was hooked.
At home, she'd tell her little brothers and her father about all the excitement and thrills of this series, but they hardly listened, as it was normal for her to tell tales. But one day, while her father was driving the car, dropping off her brothers and herself at school, a freak accident happened and everything went black! When she woke up, her family and herself are shocked at the sight before them.
They were in a busy city, with cars passing by, and people walking the sidewalks, and sign everywhere for every shop, but the signs were in Japanese, and not all the people looked... human.
Where were they? And how did they get here?

Will Claire and her family survive in this strange new world?
Will Claire's new obsession with MHA alter how things go here?
What will happen? Who will she meet?
Will Claire perhaps learn when it's appropriate to joke around and fantasize, and when you need to be realistic?
Will she gain the courage she needs?
