Born into a humble Melanesian family, I grew up as the eldest of four siblings. My parents were our pillars of love and strength, raising us with unwavering faith and values. But life took a heartbreaking turn when both of them passed away, leaving me, barely an adult, to carry the weight of leadership for my three younger siblings.
Unemployment and financial struggles became daily battles, and the extended family distanced themselves from us. In my search for answers, I made the difficult choice to step away from home to serve God through Scripture Union PNG. It was in those moments of surrender that I learned humility, perseverance, and faith. Even while away, my heart remained with my siblings, praying for their strength and growth.
Each of us faced unique challenges: my sister took on the role of caretaker, another found her voice through creativity, and our youngest brother struggled to adapt but eventually succeeded in school, inspiring us all. Together, we climbed out of despair, transforming our pain into purpose.
Now, as adults, we are building a legacy of resilience and unity, honoring our parents' memory. This is our story-a testament to faith, family, and the power of never giving up.

In a world that screams, I stand in despair,
My voice drowned out, lost in the air.
Chains of tradition tighten each day,
I long to escape, but I'm forced to stay.
Each breath I take feels heavy and torn,
Every mistake a scar I've worn.
I crave a sky where I can be free,
Away from the walls that imprison me.
For now, I sit with my heart in pain,
Silent, yet screaming, again and again.
Though shattered, a spark in me still survives,
Dreaming of freedom where my soul can rise.
