Consumed by the Ethereal

"Where is he?" A nervous Dr. Hoves exclaimed as he swiflty paced into the office, the automatic door slamming behind him.
Dr. Dextera stopped typing at his computer and let out a frustrated sigh then spoke as he let his head slack downward towards the desk. "They should be here within a couple hours, calm down."
"Are you sure one of those foul beasts didn't get him?" Dr. Hoves frantically belted out as he paced nervously cradling the sides of his head with both hands staring at the ground.
"We hired the best of the best this time, he will be fine leave it be." Dr. Dextera calmly stated as he looked back up at his computer and continued typing.
Dr. Hoves ceased his pacing to look at Dr. Dextera as he meagerly uttered "Apologies sir, it's just he's the only hope we have."
Dr. Dextera Again stopped typing slightly turning his chair so only the side of his face was visible, the light coming from the computer screen glaring off his glasses so his eyes were no longer visible. He gave Dr. Hoves a disdainful stare and again calmly stated "I know that's why he's in good hands this time."
Dr. Hoves, brought to a shiver from his frigid stare meekly whimpered "Yes sir, I'll get the cultures prepared in the mean time, sorry for the interruption."
"That would be wise Dr. Hoves."
