Bianca of Castile is the daughter of Joanna I of Spain, making her an Infanta, a princess of Spain. Isabella was born on November 15, 1498 in the Habsburg Empire with her twin sister Eleanor.

She was offered to Henry VII as Joanna's wife. He accepted this for the sake of the alliance and because he felt sorry for little Bianca. That is why he crowned her because he will bless the spiritual side of her before her, and he does not want to leave her without one.
