Hadrian Peverell dies so that Harrison (Harry) James Potter can live.
The sacrifice appears to be in naught since no one-not even Harry himself-remembers the existence of the man...or so it seems.
Or, as his fourth year ends and Harry, who, finds himself back in Privet Drive for his end of year break, gains a new...quirk.
His inner voice suddenly doesn't quite sound like himself. It's more sassy, more (questionably)wise...and more bitter...
And not to mention the increasing amount of déjà vu he is experiencing.
Or, after Harry Potter dies for the second (should he count it as his second death or third? Well, technically, it should be his third death, right?) time since no two same souls can co-exist in the same dimension, he thinks all has been lost.
That is until his consciousness awakens in his own younger self's mind, and he sets to convince his counterpart that, "No, Harry, you are not mad (hysteric maybe, but not mad) if you listen to the (again, questionably) wise words of your inner mind."
Or, Harry might not find being Death's master very flattering...but that doesn't mean Death is going to give up on Harry, not so soon. Along with Life, Death gifts Harry with another chance, a third chance to set things right...after all, third time's the charm, right?
This work is the second installment of the book 'Double Trouble' and the second work of the series 'The Gift Of Death' and can be read as a stand alone (probably).

In the battle of hogwarts, Harry never finds out the truth of his abilities and scar and as he destroys Voldemort's body after Neville slaughtered the snake, he thought victory was near. He didn't know there was one horcrux left... him. Thus with Voldemort's body destroyed, the soul inside Harry starts to merge and fight against Harry's in an attempt to over throw and control merge into his body. But the reaction and pain is violent and both souls burst causing the untimely death of Harry. But as the master of death, he meets death who offers him a chance to try again as his Death had been a ripple in his destined fate. Without hesitation, Harry accepts, determined to do things differently and knowing he's a horcrux - he vows to not lot any of his friends die. He is sent back to the triwizard tournament where he must restart his journey to defeat Voldemort for good. (Time-travel fiction, Few changes; Harry doesn't find out he was a horcrux in this story, so he doesn't go to the forest to die but he still had the stone in the snitch but never knew. After the war, all the people slowly started settling back to normal life again. Only Harry felt that he had been missing a part of him ever since he saw Severus Snape die. When he goes to the bank to ask about his accounts and to make some investments, he discovers something his dear friends and mentor were hiding from him. He decides to take the help from a certain god, namely Death, whom he is the master of, and goes back to the Marauders Era and goes to Hogwarts as Harrison Ingotus Peverell, the DADA professor. Harry, after getting hit with the killing curse during the Battle of Hogwarts, keeps getting visions of a man who looked like his godfather, Sirius Black. Not knowing what was happening to him and feeling guilty of damaging the bank, Harry goes to the bank to pay for the reparations from his own accounts. Harry then had to explain why he had to break the bank security measures. The reasons had the goblins stunned, and Harry got himself another title, 'The Goblin Friend'. When Harry got a patronus from Fred and George Weasleys, they went to the bank after realising what Harry's friends and the youngest Weasley had in store for Harry. A full blood inhertance test later, Harry and the twins were completely seething. He had previously asked Lord Death to continue with the life he was living, but now, he wanted to be sent back so that he could fix things and get the life he missed. Read as Harry goes back in time and fixes the mistakes of one Tom Marvolo Riddle-Gaunt and lets Tom continue with his goals, with him being Tom's strongest support base. Severus Snape A Soul Undiminished
This book is now available through Amazon and kindle! It was definitely a process getting it published, but my parents wanted me to accomplish this before they passed away, so no regrets. I wish I could work on it again, maybe add layers. It starts off a little heavy on the "romance", and then I think it finds its own groove, but overall I'm happy with the final product. I always appreciate it when people purchase it, but you are more than welcome to read it here. If you do buy one, please leave me a rating/comment. It's under my pen name Robin Ray on Amazon. I reposted it here for everyone to read, but I think it's also nice to read in paper book form. I buy one for myself every Christmas and end up gifting it:)I really felt inspired to write it, and as strange as it sounds, I felt that Alan Rickman helped guide me along the way. When I read it, it makes me feel less lonely, and the characters feel like real friends to me. I hope you also find something meaningful in my book. I've started on the sequel...Refuge, but it's been difficult to get back to it. He had lost Lily to their arrogant classmate, James Potter, which utterly devastated him, only to find what utter devastation really meant when he lost her again, and finally, to death. He put those memories aside for now...he had relived them a lifetime's worth in his mind over the years. He turned his thoughts back to the present, and the woman who was presently in the very next room. He relented slightly as he felt a familiarity pass over him, and he groaned lightly, feeling as if this wound had been touched at its deepest core, then had been set to healing, and he drifted off into an exhausted sleep before he could put a finger on the source of the warm familiarity he had felt, and the magic that would not show itself until the proper time.Complete
