"You want to survive? You stick to the rules of horror movies," she said, leaning in slightly, her tone equal parts teasing and ominous. "The best killers blend in effortlessly. Like your favorite scary movie villain, they can be anyone, anywhere." Her lips curled into a sly smile. "And if you are the star of the show? Odds are you knew them-personally."
Her voice dropped a pitch, laced with playful menace. "Who knows? Maybe it's me."

Just to keep everything light and fun. Disclaimer I'll publish as I go so sorry if you have to wait for the next chapter, but I'm uploading every other day. Normally I wouldn't publish my writing I'm too much of a perfectionist to share stuff like this but grieving alone really sucks so I'm just hoping us directioners can find comfort within each other. I'll try my best to include many personal details and events about the boys into the book but I have to leave some room for creative writing. I'm also just grieving and hurting so please let's be kind to one another.
