Gwendolyn Fairbourne is the only known human witch of the 21st century, a marvel of humanity and a target of the ADAD, a governmental agency tasked with researching the mythical. Their secret? Fairytale creatures - called the Folk - are real, and they've been hiding them underground.
Caught by the agency, she's forced to attend the Folk's university - Lyonhall Woods - acting as an ambassador, but she knows it's a cover.
