Viktor X Reader.
She/her reader. You are a young journalist from Zaun, working for The Piltover Globe. You witnessed the explosion of Jayce's lab from your friend's apartment. Your redaction board asks you to investigate on the matter, while the Academy tries to hide as much info as possible. But in a way or another, you meet Viktor, and a few things you did not even expect start to unravel. I imagine Y/N to be around 24/25, same age as Viktor in season 1 but that's purely personal projection, feel free to change that in your head ! Usual thing: English is not my first language and I tried to make the story as accessible as possible. Please, pleaaase tell me if I made any typos, if some sentences do not feel right or anything, I want to make the smoothest experience as possible for you readers. I will be updating the story regularly (at least I'll try, I have a competitive exam next February so...). The Arcane Trilogy: Better Call Paul - Book 1
Paul Goodbrook was born in Piltover, but like many unfortunate souls in Zaun, he lost people he cared for when the Topsiders battled the Zaunites. This put him down a path he didn't expect, where he will discover more about himself, whilst meeting lots of interesting people along the way as he navigates the political world of Pilltover and falls further into Zaun's crminal underworld. This is book 1 of a planned book trilogy. This book will take place over the year before the start of Act 2 of the show, then will follow Paul's POV through the events of the show. As such, this book will be more of a contained story, as it will mainly follow Paul for the majority of the chapters. The plan is for book 2 to be my own version of Season 2 with some original characters involved, so it will be a larger story with regards to how many characters we will follow. Then book 3 will be a season 3 story based on my season 2 story. My plan is to upload 1 chapter per week after I publish Chapter 3 (I had the first 3 pre written to see what numbers/feedback I get), but this may end up becoming 1 chapter every 2 weeks. If I'm able to get a lot of work done, I will publish chapters on a more regular basis outside of the established schedule. If any changes occur like a hiatus or something like that, I will update this description. DISCLAIMER: I am not a League of Legends fan, I am a fan of Arcane. I have researched into LoL lore for inspiration, but I will not be using this as a faithful prequel to the current game lore. IT WILL BE ITS OWN STORY. Modern AU CaitVi (from Arcane) fanfic Caitlyn Kiramman has been playing volleyball since before she could talk. It's her past, present, and future. It's her senior year at Piltover Academy, and she needs to make sure that it's her best. As team captain, she has the opportunity to build a team that will sweep the competition and make her mother proud. She can't afford any distractions. Violet Lane, Vi, is a girl with a chip on her shoulder. There are only two things in life that she cares about: volleyball and her family. She has never been good at making friends, but it will be even harder now that she is being forced to transfer to Piltover Academy for her senior year of high school. Not only will she be the new kid at school, but she will also have to attend a school full of snobby wealthy kids who will look down on her. Caitlyn and Vi are not a good pairing, but their love for their sports has forced them together. Will Caitlyn be able to shape Vi into the player that she needs on her team in order to reach her dream? Could she somehow chip away at the walls that Vi has up? Could it maybe lead to more? Revealing herself to a complete stranger. Knowing full well that a predicament would arise if that ever happened, she fumbles her way through compromise and bargains to get off easy.
