Demigods fall. They have fallen harder than lucifer from heaven, icurus from the clouds. Yet, the tragic poem that is their life rebuilds, refrains and makes them whole again. Albeit many missing pieces they'll never be able to get back. A forever chipping pot.
Many demigods are porcelain shaped to clay and kilned. Just because one is a new form and studier does not mean it can't break. Just as a real house could fall like a cards. Everything breaks with enough drops, enough tumbles.
The camps had been a safe place. Many times it was broken, many lives lost. What happens when an attack does more than hurt? It wipes a slate clean, once white now stained crimson and smelling of lost war. One emerges from the sidelines, a massacre in view point. What does this one choose?

Percy Jackson is overjoyed when his half-brother turns up at camp. At least, until his brother turns out to be a massive jerk. Chaos got called to Olympus to clean up the gods' little mess. Gaia AND Kronos AND Chaos' sister Order are loose in America, and Chaos' army has been summoned to help deal with them. and guess where the army'll be staying? In CHB, of course! Aside from fighting the bad guys' army, Percy and Nico also have to deal with nosy campers *cough* Annabeth *cough* trying to look under their hoods, stalking them, and generally not minding their own business. "The other side Nico! We will see you there. Understand?" Nico's eyes widened. "But-" "Lead them there!" Percy shouted. "Promise me!" „I-, I will." Nico watched in horror how Percy promised Annabeth to always stay together, to never be apart again. Then, Percy let go and he and Annabeth fell down. All around, he could hear the others shouting and running to help. All too late, Percy and Annabeth were gone. Suddenly, Nico heard another sound. A strange crackling was increasingly more and more prominent, until it drowned the voices of the remaining five. Before he realized what was happening, the ground beneath his torso was crumbling away, larger and larger pieces were disappearing in the hungry darkness below. Nico did not have time to react. The next thing he knew, he was falling too. OR Three demigods fall into Tartarus after finding the statue of Athena Parthenos. For better or worse, it is not the first time for Nico.
