Sevastyn Ivanov is born in the Siberian Plains in 1995 to a post-Soviet Union project that produces weapons. He will train and someday take over his fathers' role, known as Silver. He always does as told, living only for commands and to one day be Silver. But when his sister, Sonya Ivanova, is born in 2005, everything changes for a 10-year-old Sevastyn. He begins to have his own true thoughts and begins to resent and hate the project he was born into.
