जगद्गुरु श्री कृपालु जी महाराज जैसे संत इस धरती पर कई शताब्दियों में एक बार आते हैं। श्री कृपालु जी महाराज ने 1922 में उत्तर प्रदेश के एक छोटे से गाँव में जन्म लिया और 16 वर्ष की आयु से ही भगवान् का धुआँधार प्रचार प्रारम्भ कर दिया। 91 वर्षों के अपने जीवन काल में उन्होनें भारत ही नहीं बल्कि पूरी दुनिया में वेदों-शास्त्रों के ज्ञान का भंडार खोल दिया। आध्यात्मिक उन्नति के साथ-साथ उन्होनें लोगों की सामाजिक एवं शारीरिक उन्नति के लिए भी कई सराहनीय प्रयास किये, जिन्हें उनकी ज्येष्ठा सुपुत्री डॉ. विशाखा त्रिपाठी जी ने बहुत लगन के साथ आगे बढ़ाया।
