The world has stepped into the 20th century, a century of what is thought to be a second age of scientific revolution, and another century for Europe to tighten its grip around the neck of the world with its military might and ever-expanding empires.

But such thoughts would never come into reality, at least for now. Aliens from Mars, or Martians many others would say, invade Earth with technology greater and more advanced than that of the current superpower of Earth the British Empire.

The Martians invading believe the Humans as weak and inferior expecting a quick and decisive invasion are quickly bogged down into a war of attrition on multiple fronts on multiple continents. Will Humanity be able to perceive forward or will they fall into a species that will be seen as nothing but as slaves for foreigners.
