​I looked at him with love and affection, and I thought... he would be different from the others. I thought he truly loved me, that he treasured me. I underestimated him. He is a hypocrite.

​"BAKIT HINDI MO NA LANG AKO PATAYIN!!" I shouted at him, habang hawak-hawak ang kutsilyo. Ang kutsilyo na papatay sa akin.

​"I'm not like that," a cold tone came out of his mouth.

​Lumuhod ako sa sakit na nararamdaman ko. Lahat ng memories namin ay bumalik sa akin-hindi para matuwa ako, kundi para masaktan dahil ang maganda at masayang pinaramdam niya ay hindi pala para sa akin. Kundi para sa kanya. Sa babaeng unang dumadapo sa isip niya.

​"Sa mga halik mo sa akin? Sa yakap? Sa pagtulog? Siya ba ang iniisip mo?" tanong ko na may mga luha sa aking mga mata. Hindi siya sumagot. Hindi man lang niya ako tiningnan.

​"Napakasama mo, Matthew Aldrich," masamang tingin na sabi ko sa kanya. I clenched the handle of the knife. I felt like I could kill someone.
