When Evan Rosier returns to Hogwarts after summer break in his fifth year, something feels different. The once-tight bond between Sirius and Remus has blossomed into a quiet romance, while James and Regulus have managed to put aside their past differences and are on surprisingly good terms. However, despite the changes around him, Evan is struggling.
As his friends notice his changed demeanor, Evan is forced to wear a mask, hiding his pain behind a facade of normalcy, all while trying to manage the overwhelming emotions that he can no longer escape.
He's left to navigate his depression in silence, all while the world around him seems to move on without him.
