World Without Color

In a hospital, a man lies on death's doorstep. Samantha Badilla, a journalist, arrives at his bedside in his final hours to recount the life of the dying Meyland Morris, a notorious assassin, trafficker, terrorist, and rebel from Central America.

Rather than a tale of triumphs, it would narrate the horrors experienced in the Athens district since his childhood, where gangs ruled with an iron fist and his mother mysteriously vanished, leaving him in the care of Richard Morris, a former American Special Forces commander and retired mercenary. Under his care, he would meet Tatiana Badilla (Samantha's sister) with whom he would have a passionate romance amidst a world on the brink of war for control of the district. Giving us a powerful narrative filled with action, drama, and tragedy, it would trigger Meyland's metamorphosis into the feared "shadow."
