Despite being used during the half of the 20th century to imply that the subject was homosexual in Britain, it wasn't until the late 1960's that homosexuality was legalised in Wales and England.
For America, they haven't legalised homosexuality fully until 2003, starting all the way in Illinois - 1962.
But for Speedwagon? It was much different in the 1930's New York...
