Fifteen-year-old Tommy Ivans had been hopelessly in love with Derek Sanchez, a man 4 years his senior. With youthful exuberance, Tommy asked Derek's grandfather that he would like to marry Derek one day. Tommy was shameless in showing his love-declaring it boldly and constantly pestering Derek. However, Derek dismissed his affections as a childish infatuation, laughing it off and even playing along at times.
Everything changed when one of Tommy's mischievous stunts annoyed Derek's first serious girlfriend. Infuriated, Derek lashed out, calling Tommy a "delusional faggot" and firmly stating that he would never love someone like him. Heartbroken, Tommy swore to bury his feelings and move on.
Ten years later, Derek learns that his grandfather's will contains an unexpected condition: he must marry Tommy to inherit the family fortune. Desperate to secure his inheritance, Derek reconnects with Tommy and resorts to blackmail to coerce him into marriage. Although reluctant, Tommy agrees to the union, but only on the condition that it is a marriage on paper-they would live separately and divorce after two years.
However, Derek had other plans. He insists that if they are to be married, they must act like a real couple in public and in private, including sharing a bedroom. Tommy protests, but Derek reminds him that this situation was his fault. As they navigate their forced marriage, Tommy finds himself struggling to maintain emotional distance, realizing that despite the years and the pain, he still loves Derek deeply.
