Set after Arcane: Season 2, this story follows Ekko as he ventures to Kalstead to uncover Benzo's past after discovering an old photograph. However, his journey takes an unexpected turn when he uncovers signs that Jinx, presumed dead, is alive and hiding in the city. Meanwhile, Jinx, scarred by her past, finds a fragile sense of belonging among Kalstead's rebellious youth, rediscovering the idea of family and fleeting happiness. Jinx is an incredibly complex character. Expect this story to explore that complexity to its fullest. I've been inspired to attempt the impossible; Showcase the most realistic possible path for these two to find their way back to each other. Arcane is a show of tragedy brought forth by circumstance. Unlike most fanfics, this one will focus on a realistic take of what their relationship could have looked like, if at one crucial moment, things went a different way.
