Maheen and Hasan met when they were kids- young, naïve, and hopeful about the world. Just when their story begins, they're separated by tragedy and pain. But as fate would have it, they were meant to meet again.
Years later, now all grown up, they meet again suddenly at work and old feelings resurface.
Maheen is an open book. She says what she feels and wears her heart on her sleeve. She's always laughing, the personification of a bright sunny day. In her mind, she's the main character of her own Bollywood movie. She doesn't care what anyone has to say about her. She's already heard the worst.
Hasan is her complete opposite. He's always been quiet and shy, and has only become more serious and business-like as the years go on. He may have a hard exterior, but Maheen's re-entry in his life is starting to remind him of who he once was.
Maheen never misses an opportunity to make Hasan flustered, with her constant teasing and playful pestering. Hasan- the forever gentlemen- does not give in to her innocent flirting and keeps everything very professional. Or at least he tries very hard to.
Between the secret glances over cubicles, and passing jokes after staff meetings, maybe their friendship was once again turning into something more. Will they let their hearts lead them this time, or will they let the world interrupt their story again...This is their last first chance.
