Aylana Montoya-Cortez was a fighter; she'd been a fighter the minute she and her brother, Ashton, had to fight their way into surviving a life as orphans from the age of eight. She strived on power-so when she gets injured in battle and is forced to become the lab partner of one of the most well known scientists in Cosmos, she can't help but feel...weak.
Theodor "Theo" Valkyrie is a one of the greatest scientists in Cosmos. A part of that is due to the fact that he's created something that nobody has ever dared to create; Magic.
Though the path was never easy-losing the one person he loved for the sake of science. It made him be known as the bitter and self absorbed scientist.
And while his work may be one of his greatest achievements to name, he can't quite say that's his greatest challenge.
His greatest challenge would have to be dealing with his brand new lab partner, given to him by his professor.
How will the two of them work together, despite their clashing personalities? That's something they'll have to learn to deal with.

When Raiden is told by the Sage Witches he must kidnap Trifica Larkin for the sake of their world he sighs a bit, complains a bit more, but ultimately accepts the task-as he always does. Guilt has a funny way of making him feel obligated. However, this job isn't like all the others and not just because Trifica reminds Raiden of his old love who died centuries ago.
