When Father saw her he also saw her ears had stitches at the top of them, and she had two beauty marks. One gold mark on her right cheek and one black one on her left cheek. As the years went by the trio got very close, one day they made a promise to each other to become the Wizard King/Queen. When the Grimoire Acceptance Ceremony begins, Emily receives a fancy, colorful grimoire with a six-leaf clover on it. She was really proud of it, but a bit sad when her friend didn't receive one. But after an intense battle during a grimoire robbery, Asta unexpectedly receives a black grimoire with a five-leaf clover on it. And after the Magic Knight Exams, she decided to join the Black Bulls in order to help Asta achieve his dream of becoming the Wizard King.
