Into the Apocalypse: Rapid and Solar's story

Around five years ago, in 2024, during the last total eclipse, a virus broke out. It moved quickly, spawning around the Raleigh area of North Carolina and quickly spreading. Soon, most of the southern US region was covered with infected people, within a year, all of the US, some of Canada, parts of Mexico, and beyond were also filled with the infected, which were given the name Stalkers in simple terms. They just watch, and they wait, and then they strike. They can watch their prey up for hours up to months before striking, which makes them pretty deadly due to the unpredictability.

Rapid Vera was only sixteen when that happened, and now, five years later, at twenty one, she's surviving in the mountains of the state where it started it all. Alone for nearly three years, surviving on whatever means she could, never keeping the same schedule twice.

Solar Nevix was once a hockey play, the star center for his high school team, yet when the eclipse happened in the middle of the game, him and some of his teammates escaped the chaos. For the past few years, the group has traveled around, trying to find either other survivors or a safe place, yet, one day in god knows where, he catches the glimpse of a woman who seems around his age, and his world gets turned upside down once more.
