Estella Price wanted nothing more than a normal senior year; a normal day at school, normal complaining about homework and a normal argument with stuck up girls in her class who think the world revolves around them.

Yeah her idea of normal was quite different.

But living in a family of five, including herself, and being neighbours with an annoying guy who makes it his daily job to infuriate her, made it kinda hard to have a normal life.

Asher Kingston was the epitome of bad news, with his constant disappearing and bad background, safe to say, he was feared at school. His dad's stoic and cold and his mom is a alcoholic who is trying to quit her addiction. But it wasn't always like this, Asher once had a normal childhood, one where Estella was very much involved.

He craves chaos, she despises disorganisation.
Estella is desperate for a normal cliche life, Asher 's craving for havoc.

Opposites attract; some mixes end up perfectly and some result in disasters.
Which one will these two lead to?

In the end, everyone simply yearns for serenity.

"The answer is 'A,'" I say, keeping my voice light and kind. Carter snorts from beside me. "No, it's 'C.'" Bingo. I was hoping he'd say that. "The question clearly asks you to round to the nearest tenth. If I'm not mistaken, which I don't believe I am, answer 'C' has two decimal places." I smirk as his mouth twitches into a frown. We're still standing. "Very well, Miss. Jones," Mr. Neilson says, projecting another question. "I can't stand you," Carter mumbles in my ear. I turn my head towards him, pressing my lips against his ear. "Then sit the fuck down, Conners," I whisper. "I'm winning." ... Fairridge Prep is for the best of the best. Sadie Jones, stubborn and clever, is set on being the best. Returning from winter break feeling, more so than ever, that she has stolen her sister's dream, Sadie is determined to spend the rest of Junior year proving that she deserves everything she's worked towards. Carter Conners, notorious flirt (only when it comes to Sadie), will do anything it takes to not spend the rest of his life working at his parents' diner. Whether it's running for the track team or debating, Carter is always competing, and competing to win. Sadie and Carter have been rivals since freshman year, constantly bickering and trying to best each other. But when the rivals are thrown into a week long debate competition that, along with getting the top spot on the Principal's List, will guarantee one of them the title of Valedictorian next year, they find themselves enjoying each other's company more than they would've ever expected. And it leaves them wondering: "Do we really hate each other?"

**FAIR WARNING: YOU WILL HAVE TO BE PATIENT WITH CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT, BUT IT IS THERE, AND WORTH THE READ. IF YOU ARE OVERLY SENSITIVE, DO NOT READ THIS BOOK* Logan Pierce and Noah Locke are sworn enemies. Both at the top of their class, holding themselves to the highest standards; both captains of their volleyball teams, Logan as the girls captain, Noah as the boys; and both constantly playing seemingly harmless pranks to get back at one another. Or, at least, they're usually harmless... If one thing is true, Noah Locke and Logan Pierce are not friends. But does that mean they could never be friends? Or transcend their title as enemies? Logan might take things too far sometimes, but there's a reason behind the angry front she puts on, and in order to get behind it, someone needs to show her that there's more to life than being the best at everything. Cue Noah Locke. When the two volleyball teams are sent away to a team bonding camp for a week over Fall break, Logan and Noah must learn to get along for the sake of their teams. Partnered up and made to do activities together and bond, the goal is for Noah and Logan to stop this ongoing feud. And when something happens at the bonding camp that brings Logan's vulnerable side up to bat, Noah is the one who has to bring her back. While Logan and Noah explore something other than hatred for one another, there are secrets and people who could be working in toll to bring them apart. But will they be able to transcend those factors and stop fighting for once? Or were they destined to be enemies forever? "Better Than You" challenges the idea that enemies have to stay enemies forever, and proves that if you don't run away from love, you may just find where you were meant to be.
