A light in the darkness -- an Adrienette fanfiction

When Marinette and Adrien, two people who don't like each other have their alter ego best friends, Ladybug and Chat Noir, choose to find out who they are, what will happen to both relationships?

Marinette, a studious and overly kind pupil at her school, tries to reach out to the new boy who comes to school, Adrien Agreste. Adrien, who after the death of his mother, is in a dark spot and pretty much hates life, isn't very kind to her, but after an incident with a tall bookshelf, he changes how he looks at her. He starts to come to terms with liking her, even though he falls into sadness over and over again.
Marinette, meanwhile, is dealing with the death of her little sister by being overly kind to everyone, but doesn't want anything to do with love, as she feels so devoid of it. After all, it's hard enough being a kind person, a good student, AND a superhero, too!
But life, as always, has more in store for them, so when they have to make the decision to reveal to each other who Chat Noir and Ladybug are, right when Marinette and Adrien get into a fight, how will they react, and well, what will happen?

A/N: I'm a tad addicted to Wattpad and love reading Miraculous (adrienette) fanfics sometimes until 1am. (don't you dare judge me yes I know it's a kids show) This is my first ever fanfic. It might actually suck. I don't know. Thanks for reading and hopefully it was good. :) Please leave any suggestions you have to make the story better in the comments.

Since this is my first fanfiction, I was very scared any cover i made would get copyrighted, so I used Canva. From my extensive Reddit and Google searching, it is ok to use canva for wattpad without copyright issues. yay :)
