*Takes place from the fourth book (GoF) to after the seventh book, mostly following the HP storyline but with some changes!*

Amelie Edwards is not the typical Hogwarts student; fourteen years old and all-American, she receives the shock of her life when she learns she is, in fact, a part of a magical world that had existed unbeknownst to her. Like she resolves to do with everything in her life, Amelie decides to seize the chance in front of her. But, she plans to receive her magical education and then leave England and the wizarding world forever to return to the life she knows and loves. A few chance encounters with an irritating blonde boy, unexpected friendships, and the eruption of a wizarding war threaten to disrupt those plans.
