At Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Chastity "Constance" Hargrove is known for her kindness, optimism, and unwavering belief in the goodness of people. A Hufflepuff at heart, she's a rare beacon of light in a school slowly being consumed by darkness. Born of a pureblood mother and a Muggle, Christian father, Constance feels the pressure of her blood status and is constantly torn between the magical world's elitism and her own progressive views.
Among the students at Hogwarts, few are as enigmatic as Tom Riddle-a brilliant, charismatic student with the world at his feet. To Constance, he's simply another talented peer, someone who commands respect and attention. She admires his intelligence and elegance, even if she doesn't fully understand the darker aura that surrounds him. Though they rarely speak, Constance finds herself inexplicably drawn to him, sensing that there's more to Tom than meets the eye.
What Constance doesn't realise is that Tom Riddle has already noticed her-and he's repulsed. Her extroverted nature, her naive belief in the goodness of others, and her blood status are all things that he finds beneath him. She's an irritating anomaly in his perfectly crafted world of ambition and control. But as time passes, something shifts. A connection forms, one that neither of them fully understands but that neither can ignore.
As the Wizarding World inches closer to chaos, Tom's darkness begins to grow, and Constance finds herself caught between her ideals and the dangerous attraction she feels for the very person who represents everything she believes to be wrong. Their connection is a slow-burn, fraught with tension, contradictions, and a love that neither of them ever expected.
Will Constance be able to hold onto her light, or will the pull of Tom Riddle's darkness prove too strong?
"Nice fighting out there. You are finally getting better." She joked.
He smiled and rolled his eyes, "Thanks."
She grinned, "Yah, well soon you'll be good enough to challenge me." She baited.
He laughed, "I would challenge you now, but I'm all tuckered out."
She looked down at her intricate blade, inspecting it, "Sure...you can use that excuse." She retorted as sly smile spread across her face.
Thea and Nikandros are the newest assassin recruits in their camp and are eager to be accepted. But what happens when their first mission doesn't go the way they planned?
This story is set in Middle-Earth in a time before The Hobbit or The Lord of The Rings took place.
