004 was nine when she ran away from Hawkins lab. She ran so far until a journalist found her cold and ill in the woods of Illinois.
Now shes 17 and goes by Marissa Bauman. Her, now, father is a crazy conspiracy theorist who sent her to a a school 3 hours away in a town she never wanted to revisit for 'intel'. She was embarrassed of her father but still loved him. Even if he was seen as 'crazy'.
But when a kid she babysits goes missing Marissa is forced to take a trip down memory lane with her best friend and Hawkins resident mouth breather 'King Steve'.
