Definitions for Japanese terms and translation notes are listed at the end of the story. Within the story itself, there are some Japanese phrases. These are first written phonetically and then are followed by the English translations. I did this as I speak both English and Japanese and while I could write everything in English, the use of the Japanese painted a more vivid picture in my mind and created the sound that I wanted in my head. So hopefully, it isn't too intrusive and you are still able to enjoy it. :)
